Euripidis Mistakidis is professor of Structural Analysis at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Thessaly. His research interests cover a broad spectrum of structural analysis and design problems  (steel and composite structures, cementitious shells, strengthening of existing structures using innovative methodologies, analysis of structures under elevated temperatures, fire resistance of steel and composite structures, analysis design and dynamic response of offshore structures). He has authored or co-authored  62 papers in high impact scientific journals, 1 book and many papers in national and international conferences. Moreover, he is the editor or co-editor of 6 contributed volumes.
Professor Mistakidis has also been involved in the structural design of a large number of projects in Greece and abroad (industrial facilities, energy production facilities, hotels, educational and research complexes, stadiums, etc).
